Government Industrial Training Institute was established in the year 1972, under the Department of Industrial Training, intended to impart Vocational Training to ensure a steady flow of skilled workers in different trades for the Industry. The Craftsman Training Scheme was introduced by the Govt. of India in the year 1956. The Govt. I.T.I Attingal is located at Attingal town in Thiruvananthapuram District. This Institute was started as a first grade Institute with 18 trades. Vision and Mission
